Rod Cappy is a shareholder of the firm. He is Regional Counsel for Chrysler LLC in Southern California and Hawaii, wherein he handles the defense of Chrysler's product liability cases. As such, Rod has defended and been involved in the pretrial preparation and trial of hundreds of product liability cases involving crashworthiness claims, and allegations regarding air bags, seat belts, seats and vehicle fires.
Rod has also handled transportation and cargo cases for various companies and carriers, including Werner Enterprises, Inc., a national trucking company. While he usually represents Werner as a defendant, in one case he obtained a six-figure recovery for Werner in a breach of contract lawsuit.
Rod has also handled numerous personal injury and general liability cases, including food-related litigation for ConAgra Foods, Inc..
Rod is a transplant from Michigan who enjoys the many things that Southern California and Nevada have to offer - top notch theater, collecting and drinking red wine, the sun, dining out at many of the great restaurants in Los Angeles, and taking side trips to Las Vegas.
